*** Nancy Havlik's choreography explores the human condition,
indvidual struggle towards connection, and a search for windows to
the heart.
*** Her small,diverse dance/theater company of highly
physical performers
brings their individuality and
intelligence to the choreography.
*** The choreography includes text, song and full,
idiosyncratic dance movement.
*** Collaboration with composers, visual artists, writers,
set designers, lighting designers and costumers is an
important element in the finished dances.
*** Dance Performance Group is available for performances
and workshops. Workshop topics include dance
technique classes for children and adults, dance &
theater improvisation, creative
dance for senior adults and finding ways to make a
living and be a dancer/choreographer.
Nancy Havlik formed Dance Performance Group to develop choreography with a small group of dancers who bring their own individuality and uniqueness to the development and performance of work.
